What exactly do I get when I buy the planner?
A single 72-page PDF file delivered instantly after checkout. It includes 30 daily tracker pages, 4 weekly focus blocks, 18 reference guides, 4 troubleshooting playbooks, 2 progress dashboards, and a bonus library. Print at home on standard letter paper, or use it digitally on a tablet.
Is this only for young puppies, or can I use it with an older dog too?
It's optimized for puppies 8 weeks to about 6 months, but early-adopter customers have used it successfully with rescue dogs of any age who need a "reset week" of structure. The daily rhythm, troubleshooting, and reference sections apply to any dog — only the growth chart and vaccination schedule are age-specific.
What breed is this planner for?
Every breed. The frameworks — daily rhythm, socialization, potty routine, crate training, troubleshooting — are universal. Where breed does matter (energy level, grooming, exercise minutes) we've built in a "personalize this" prompt so you can adapt the plan to your specific dog.
I've never trained a dog before. Is this too advanced for me?
It's built for you, actually. Zero jargon, no assumed knowledge, every reference page written like a friendly cheat sheet. If you can fill in "what did we work on today" you can use this planner. First-time owners are our biggest audience.
Do I have to print it out?
Nope. It works beautifully on an iPad or any tablet with a PDF markup app (GoodNotes, Notability, Xodo, or the built-in Files app on iOS). Print if you love the tactile feel — many customers print just the daily pages and read the reference sections on tablet.
How is this different from a YouTube video or blog post?
Online advice is fragmented — a video here, a blog there, contradicting each other. This planner is a single connected system. Every page fits with the next. And critically: it removes the daily "what am I supposed to be doing today?" question, which is the real reason most owners burn out in week two.
Is this a substitute for a real trainer or veterinarian?
No — and it doesn't try to be. It's an organizational and educational tool. For medical concerns always call your vet. For serious behavior issues (aggression, extreme anxiety) always consult a certified trainer or veterinary behaviorist. The planner works alongside those professionals, not instead of them.
Can I share the PDF with a friend or use it for multiple dogs?
The PDF is licensed for one household. Use it for as many dogs as live under your roof — reprint the daily tracker pages as many times as you like. If a friend wants a copy, we'd love it if you sent them the link.
What if I don't like it?
Because this is an instant digital download, Gumroad's platform doesn't process automatic refunds — but we do. If the planner isn't working for you within 30 days, message us and we'll refund you, no questions asked.
Will there be more volumes?
Yes — Volume 2 (Health), Volume 3 (Milestones), and Volume 4 (Cat) are in production. Subscribers to our list get 20% off launch-week pricing on every release.
Do you ship a physical copy?
Not yet. Volume 1 is digital-only for now, which is why we can keep it at $17. A print-on-demand hardcover edition is on the roadmap for late 2026.
